Clients: Deborah Newman and Lisa Logan
Face2face is a business providing unique body casting services, their primary focus on body casting commissions for: pregnancy casting, infant and feet set and casting for specific celebrations including, Valentines, Mother ’s day, weddings and Christenings.
The business also provides a self – development program assisting young offenders and young people at risk of exclusion from mainstream education using the ‘casting processes to understand imagery of themselves and their environment and also provides workshop training of organisations employees in casting procedures
The two partners in the business are Deborah Newman and Lisa Logan. Face2face approached Centa Business Services to seek support in business development and source any business funding that is available. Stephen Anderson a business adviser at Centa set up a meeting to ‘touch base’ and assess their business needs. After the initial meeting Stephen drew up an action plan to look at moving the business forward, focusing on marketing, providing feedback on work that face2face had done on their business plan and examining what funding and financial support they could apply for. Business advice was provided through the London Development Agency’s Business London: Start Up and Micro Business Support Programme.
Stephen also found that face2face was in a strong position to apply a Camden grant, so after working with face2face on aspects of the plan (presentation, cash flow and use of the funding)
Face2face were successful in obtaining the grant funding
